As Customer Insight Analyst, your mission will be to gather, organize and disseminate key client feedback and market intelligence for our leadership team. This is a mission-critical role to ensure AlphaSights leadership can recognize patterns and spot trends, stay abreast of the latest market developments and make well-informed strategic decisions. To accomplish this, you’ll need to develop processes, workflows and digital tools to ensure sustainable and effective gathering, organizing and dissemination of information.


You’ll operate at the nexus of several functions across the organization, taking initiative, building relationships and spearheading initiatives. Over time, your goal should be to become the trusted internal  authority for market feedback.

  • Consult with relevant stakeholders across the organisation to identify and prioritize relevant themes to focus on (e.g. client experience (CX), account intelligence, competitive developments, pricing, iM&A opportunities etc.)
  • Collect, organize, streamline and share information already gathered by front-line client service team members
  • Supplement existing processes by regularly interviewing clients from different business segments and geographies, to understand the voice of the customer (VoC); their priorities, pain points and broader challenges
  • Support quantitative and qualitative research efforts that answer key questions about our current and future client users and organizations, translate these insights into action, helping develop strategic recommendations for AlphaSights’ most pressing business inquiries
  • Stay on the pulse of the latest competitive dynamics, market trends and changing landscape within the immediate and more broadly defined competitive arena
  • Measure the success of new client-facing initiatives, using survey results and qualitative feedback to understand the effectiveness of these efforts; work closely with the product management team to inform them of market signals and feedback
  • Develop clear, robust and regular communications to update leadership on novel findings and essential updates

This is an opportunity for an organized, detail-oriented and strategic professional with previous business intelligence, market research, client relations and/or journalistic experience to take the next step in their career by building up a new function within an ambitious global growth company. While you’ll have the support and guidance from leadership, you’ll also need to consider what kind of processes, workflow and tools you’ll need and build a clear roadmap with aim of establishing a best-in-class market intelligence and client research function for AlphaSights.

  • Excellent communicator, able to interpret and extract relevant insights from lots of noise
  • Strong interpersonal skills, excited to listen and empathize while also able to influence and persuade


  • 3-5 years of experience in an analytical role (management consulting, investment banking, market research, and/or consumer insights experience is preferred)
  • Highly organized, with close attention to detail and project management skills
  • Strong process design skills, in particular, the ability to define and execute a new process from scratch
  • Adaptable and open-minded; able to pivot with frequent changes inherent in a high-growth firm and capable of accepting and acting on feedback
  • Comfortable with big picture strategic thinking, with the ability to see how various initiatives fit into a larger strategy (i.e. “connecting the dots”)
