The Market Research Analyst is responsible for working with a cross section of the organization and delivering key findings from the Voice of the Customer work to ensure that the company delivers the right customer experience while also delivering the business needs. Key responsibilities include:
Independently oversee the development and design of the customer research projects including qualitative and quantitative. Serve as subject matter expert for survey development and execution, results analysis and reporting.
Discover and interpret actionable learning from Voice of the Customer research and contribute breakthrough insights that will guide strategic and tactical customer initiatives.
Develop insight activation/assimilation plans and techniques to ensure research results are fully understood and leveraged in business strategy development and other critical business activities. Pursue unanticipated research findings to their root cause.
Develop strategic insights reporting and analysis for executive reporting on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis.
Administrator of online panel and facilitator of focus groups.
Advise Customer Satisfaction and Customer Engagement leadership on complex issues involving significant customer impact.
As an advocate of Voice of the Customer gain alignment of objectives across stakeholders and translate business issues into researchable questions and objectives.
Assist with change management for Ameren Illinois during large projects.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing or Marketing Research from an accredited college or university required. Master's Degree in Business, Marketing or Marketing Research preferred. Five or more years' of Marketing Research and or experience using qualitative/quantitative research required. A Master's Degree can substitute for two years of required experience. One year of experience working with best practices in Voice of Customer programs preferred. Project management and utility experience preferred.
Ability to think strategically and provide customer focused solutions required. Strong working knowledge of MS Office required. Must be able to create reports, spreadsheets and develop formula calculations. Must be able to develop lookup tables, perform graphical analysis, and develop/interpret tables. SQL, SAS or SPSS experience preferred. Working knowledge of an online customer research panel and experience running focus panels preferred. Demonstrated ability to be self-motivated, solve problems, make decisions and be proactive. Must be a strong communicator, attention to details, and works well in a team environment. Ability to work in a multi-tasked environment to accomplish a goal required. Demonstrate the ability to influence and create change using effective presentation skills, written summaries and strong verbal communication.
