Customer Experience Insights Researcher

Location:  United States:  San Francisco, California -  Dallas, Texas

Position Overview
Autodesk’s Customer Insights and Experience team is looking for a passionate and driven data specialist with proven experience driving organizational change through rigorous data analysis.   You will be working with a highly skilled team of customer experience professionals to shape Autodesk’s customer-focused culture.

You will partner closely with our data analysts from the Customer Success Organization’s Strategy Team to uncover unbiased actionable insights through research, analysis and measurement of the Autodesk customer experience across the entire customer journey.  Working with qualitative and quantitative data, you also identify performance drivers and trends to tell the story through reports and live dashboards based on evolving stakeholders needs.

Responsibilities
  • Perform deep dive analyses to understand trends, anomalies, and insights that will highlight customer pain points and customer experience strengths that will help drive operational improvements
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to maintain data-integrity and accuracy of recommendations
  • Craft data stories through presentations, written summaries, live dashboards and data visualizations that accurately outline problem statements and provide actionable, unbiased intelligence and recommendations
  • Gain deep knowledge of existing Autodesk Voice of Customer, financial and operational data to identify data sources that could provide data correlation for insights
  • Assist data analytics team with predictive model requirements
  • Participate in other corporate and marketing analysis projects as required

Minimum Qualifications
  • Background in qualitative research for Voice of Customer programs
  • Advanced experience with Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, advanced modeling, creating charts/graphs) and PowerPoint
  • Experience with BI development and database systems such as PowerBI and Tableau
  • Experience with scripting languages
  • Proficiency using SQL to query large data sets

Preferred Qualifications 
  • Passionate about improving the customer experience
  • Enthusiastic about data wrangling and delving into new datasets
  • Extensive experience in roles combining business analysis/intelligence, research, and strategy
  • Strong problem-solving skills and sharp business judgment
  • Detail-oriented, ensuring data accuracy and consistency
  • Exceptional communication skills, attentive listener and compelling influencer
  • Open to new ideas and respectful of differing opinions/perspectives
  • Self-motivated and can work independently in a fast-paced changing environment
  • Highly collaborative and can work cross-functionally, while cultivating relationships with colleagues and stakeholders
  • Experience with Qualtrics Platform
